Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden, a city in central Germany, is the capital of the state of Hessen. The city is on the right, northern, bank of the river Rhine. It lies opposite the city of Mainz on the other side of the river, and is near Frankfurt am Main. Wiesbaden has about 300,400 inhabitants, plus approximately 14,000 U.S. citizens (mostly associated with the American military). The city is also in the Rhein Metropolitan area with Frankfurt and Mainz put together with it, consisting of about 5.8 million people.

    Just the time I was there! Ron Pinet- hung out with Randy Silkie, Rod Pettinato, Jerry Sissons, etc- they had the big room at the end of the second floor- what was the restaurant right across from the ER? Lots of intense times!

    I was a 1st Lt., MSC, at this hospital May thru Oct 1957 and was then transferred to the small hosp. at Phalsbourg USAF base in France. Returned to US and discharged 9/59. Our 2nd son was born in Weisbaden USAF hosp. 9/58. Tom Coles, currently 87!

    Hello Robert, I was stationed there 1964-68. Worked in Admin wing near front entrance. My hangouts were Jungs down the street and the Jazz Haus in town. Would be curious about whom you knew and where you frequented . Brad LaVine

    I was stationed on Lindsey from Apr 87 - Oct 90 with the 7543rd Tac Elec Sq. Awesome assignment and had a blast. Been back there a few times and most recently in 2016....dorm is still on the right as you enter but bldg where I worked is now a playground.
